COMMUNITY BIKE WORKS: Providing Options for Success
Community Bike Works, Youth Development & Work Ethic Programs, is a nonprofit social service agency in Allentown, Pennsylvania. COMMUNITY BIKE WORKS' MISSION IS TO: 1. provide inner city children living in at risk situations with meaningful work ethic alternatives to gangs, drugs and the streets; and 2. use adult & youth mentors to develop & nurture relationships with our clients.
FOUR OF OUR KIDS HELP POLICE
Officer Yanders of the Allentown Police department came in to thank four of our youths who helped police apprehend a fugitive. The individual threw off his outer garments to ward off detection, as he ran by Community Bike Works. The four kids told the police in what direction he ran and where he was hiding
